奨学金制度

ウクレレフェスティバル大学奨学金制度は、2004年設立の非営利団体ウクレレフェスティバル・ハワイによって運営されています。 ウクレレフェスティバル・ハワイでは、ハワイ伝統文化のひとつであるウクレレを世界に普及することを目的とし、無料の音楽フェスティバルイベントの開催、ウクレレ教育、そして大学進学児童のサポートとして奨学金制度を提供しています。

The Lili Anama Park Memorial College Scholarship is awarded to a member of the Ukulele Festival Hawaii Band who demonstrates passion and devotion to the ukulele. Given in honor of Lili Anama Park, who taught, nurtured, and inspired hundreds of students with her vibrant personality and love of the ukulele, the scholarship seeks to recognize individuals who spread the beauty and joy of the ukulele as Lili did during her 23-year career at Roy Sakuma Ukulele Studios. One of Lili’s greatest joys was being the leader of the Ukulele Festival Hawaii band. This scholarship, founded by James Park, Lili’s beloved husband, was established in honor of her memory.
