Mahalo for the 4th annual Maui Ukulele Festival ! We've attended all 4 of them and it pays to be present. Not only will you enjoy the many different ukulele players, a day with your family and friends but you just might win a ukulele. Thats what happened with us. The first year my daughter won a beautiful Pono ukulele .This year my 12 year old son "Mister" won a MASTERPIECE ! It is a polished black concert ukulele engraved with mother of pearl. The minute we got home he plugged it into the amp and played straight thru dinner and plays it every single day since. He tries to learn a new song every week. Thank you for inspiring my son. We've also attended several of your work shops along with my sister inlaws, mother inlaw and other ohana every one has learned something new. Mahalo for caring about the keiki and the culture and taking it to the next level! And thank you to ALL the people who donated ukuleles.

I attended the 4th Annual Maui Ukulele Festival and I found the event extremely vibrant and uplifting. The diversity of music was muchly enjoyed by all. At the event, not only I was able to see professional musicians I have not seen in years (ie. Hulu Lindsay), but I also came across relatives and met new friends I sat next to on the lawn. Friends I met in the plane (Shelbra & Sandy from Gilbert, AZ) were there and really had a wonderful time.

I would like to extend my sincerest mahalo's and gratitude to Roy and Kathy Sakuma and everyone who've worked tirelessly to put out a great program. We are truly blessed that you continue to support and perpetuate Hawaiian music through these great events! Most of all, thank you for involving our young keiki's as part of this program and for giving away free ukuleles and other donated gifts. That was such a nice touch and great incentive to the program! We look forward to yet another great event next year. A hui hou...

Great turn out, excellent vibe, plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy the event. The whole festival far exceeded my/our expectations. Mahalo for having us on the bill with the masters of Ukulele. Very humbling for us to perform along side the greats.
